Pendandt Valknut

You can see a symbol of nature trinity on it – three bounded triangles intermingling into one another and embodying the past, the present and the future on the one hand; a body, a soul and a spirit on the other; and finally the unity, the transfiguration and the transfiguration which in common implies a key to sence of trinity. All these ideas you can find on this amulet.

In common, Valknut is one of the main symbols in the Old Scandinavian mythology and religion. You can find it almost everywhere. It is believed that it is a key to all the nine worlds and has enormous amount of power. According to the traditions, it can be seen on a wide number of ritual staff and is a heart symbol of many murals placed on the runic stones. The most ancient findings date back to the beginning of 1000 A.D. and belong to pre-Scandinavian Anglo-saxon beliefs.

In spite of world-wide spread within the North culture, Valknut remains one of the enigmatic symbols left by vikings. We have so little information that we even cannot insist that Valknut is the real name of this sign and not just its modern determination.

The role of this sign is to transfer, to open a door. Everyone faced the situation when you are in need to update your mental possibilities and abilities by switching to another topic. You may also feel the lack of ability to rationally and critically perceive your own opinions and judgments which used to seem to you as inviolable, especially in confrontation with something that stand against them. In all sorts of similar situations you can use this symbol to gain a piece of wisdom. What is more, this pendant can serve you as a sign of dedication to Odin’s Path.
