Last updated: August 9, 2026
Blagowood is currently operated by Mykhailo Melnychuk (“Blagowood,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We operate this store and website, including the related content, features, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, place an order, create or use a customer account, submit a review, contact us, or otherwise use the Services. If this Privacy Policy conflicts with our Terms of Service regarding the collection, processing, or disclosure of personal information, this Privacy Policy controls.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Personal Information We Collect
“Personal information” means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect or process:
- Contact and order information: name, billing and shipping address, telephone number, email address, and order details.
- Payment and transaction information: payment method, payment confirmation, transaction details, refunds, returns, exchanges, cancellations, and purchase history. Complete payment-card credentials are handled by our payment providers rather than stored directly by Blagowood.
- Customer-account information: account identifiers, preferences, settings, and authentication information managed through Shopify.
- Shopping activity: products you view, add to your cart, purchase, return, exchange, or cancel.
- Communications and submitted content: messages sent to customer support, review content, and photographs, videos, documents, or other information you voluntarily provide in connection with an order, damage report, return, or other request.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser, device, network connection, unique identifiers, referring pages, and information about how and when you navigate or interact with the Services.
- Cookie and similar-technology information: information collected through cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies used by Shopify and other providers described below.
We use telephone numbers collected at checkout primarily for order processing, delivery, customs or carrier contact, fraud prevention, and customer support. We do not use checkout telephone numbers for SMS marketing unless you separately opt in.
Sources of Personal Information
We may collect personal information:
- directly from you when you place an order, create or use an account, submit a review, contact us, or otherwise provide information;
- automatically from your device or browser when you use the Services;
- from Shopify and service providers that support payments, analytics, advertising, reviews, communications, fraud prevention, fulfillment, shipping, and returns;
- from business partners or other third parties where permitted by applicable law.
How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- provide the Services and perform our contract with you;
- process payments, orders, returns, exchanges, refunds, and other transactions;
- arrange production, warehousing, fulfillment, customs processing, and delivery;
- create, maintain, and secure customer accounts;
- provide customer support and respond to inquiries or claims;
- collect, verify, manage, and display product or store reviews;
- remember preferences, personalize the shopping experience, and recommend relevant products;
- analyze and improve our website, products, services, advertising, and customer experience;
- send promotional emails where permitted by law or with your consent;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, illegal activity, or other harmful conduct;
- comply with legal obligations, valid legal process, and requests from competent authorities;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and enforce our terms and policies.
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may still send non-promotional communications relating to your account, orders, payments, delivery, returns, or customer-service requests.
Legal Bases for Processing in the EEA and UK
Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, we process personal information:
- as necessary to perform our contract with you, including processing payment, fulfilling and delivering orders, providing customer support, and handling returns or refunds;
- to comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, customs, fraud-prevention, and lawful disclosure requirements;
- for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving our business and Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests;
- with your consent where consent is required, including for certain marketing or technology-related activities.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose personal information only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to the following recipients.
Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes information about your access to and use of the Services to provide, secure, and improve its platform. Information submitted through the Services may be transmitted to Shopify and its providers in countries other than your own.
We currently use Shopify enhanced services and Shopify Network Intelligence. Shopify may use information about interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify to provide enhanced services such as security, analytics, personalization, and advertising. For certain processing connected with these enhanced services, Shopify is responsible for responding to requests concerning its use of personal information.
Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy or exercise Shopify-related privacy choices through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Western Bid, Payments, and US Fulfillment
Our store uses the Western Bid™ e-commerce platform. Western Bid, Inc. acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases made through our store and may appear as the payee on your credit-card or PayPal statement.
Western Bid may process transaction and order information and, for applicable orders, provide payment support, warehousing, fulfillment, return processing, or shipping services from its facilities in the United States. Some Blagowood products are stored at a Western Bid fulfillment facility in the United States so they can be delivered to US customers more quickly.
Card payments are processed through Stripe Card Payments, and PayPal is available as an additional payment provider. These providers may process personal information under their own privacy notices and may act as independent data controllers for certain processing:
Shipping and Fulfillment Providers
We share information reasonably required to deliver an order—such as your name, delivery address, telephone number, email address, order details, and customs information—with Western Bid, Ukrposhta, and other postal, courier, customs, warehousing, or fulfillment providers used for a particular shipment.
The provider may vary depending on the destination, item location, service availability, and selected delivery method.
Reviews
We use Judge.me to collect, verify, manage, and display product and store reviews. Judge.me may process reviewer contact information, review content, order-verification information, device information, and usage data. Reviews and the name or other information submitted with them may be displayed publicly according to the review settings and your submission.
Learn more in the Judge.me Privacy Policy.
Analytics and Advertising
We use services including Google Analytics and Google & YouTube, Meta/Facebook and Instagram, and Microsoft Clarity to understand website use, measure performance, improve the customer experience, prevent abuse, and, where enabled, provide or measure advertising.
These services may process device identifiers, IP address, browser information, website interactions, shopping activity, and cookie or similar-technology data. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights or choices regarding certain analytics, advertising, or data-sharing activities.
Security, Fraud Prevention, and Communications
We use fraud-prevention, country or IP-blocking, security, and access-control providers that may process IP address, device, network, approximate location, transaction, and order information to protect the Services, prevent fraudulent activity, and enforce access restrictions.
When you contact us through Shopify Inbox, chat, messaging tools, email, or another support channel, we and the relevant service provider process the contact details and message content needed to respond and maintain customer-service records.
Legal and Business Purposes
We may disclose information:
- when you direct or consent to the disclosure;
- to comply with applicable law, court orders, subpoenas, search warrants, or other valid legal process;
- to investigate or prevent fraud, illegal activity, security threats, or harm;
- to enforce our terms and policies or protect our rights and the rights of customers or others;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Shopify and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember settings and cart contents, understand website usage, maintain security, prevent fraud, and support analytics, personalization, or advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect customer accounts, checkout, cart contents, preferences, or other website functions. Privacy rights or choices concerning analytics, advertising, or data sharing may also be available depending on your location.
Third-Party Websites and Links
The Services may link to websites or platforms operated by third parties. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites, their content, or their privacy practices. Information you post in public or semi-public areas, including reviews or social-media platforms, may be visible to others.
Children’s Data
The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us to request its deletion.
We do not knowingly sell or share, as those terms are defined by applicable law, the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. However, no transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive or confidential information through unsecured communication channels.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining accounts, completing transactions, keeping business and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations. The retention period depends on the type of information, the purpose of processing, and applicable legal requirements. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you.
International Transfers
We, Shopify, Western Bid, and other providers may store or process personal information outside the country where you live, including in Ukraine, the United States, and other countries where our providers operate.
Where required for transfers from the EEA or United Kingdom, recognized transfer mechanisms may be used, such as adequacy decisions, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- request access to or information about personal information we hold;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- receive a portable copy of certain personal information;
- object to or request restriction of certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
- opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activities where applicable;

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. You may also designate an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
To submit a privacy request or opt-out request concerning Blagowood’s processing, email support@blagowood.com. For personal information processed independently by Shopify, use the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about how we process personal information, please contact us first so we can review it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection or privacy authority. EEA supervisory authorities are listed by the European Data Protection Board.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices, providers, Services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy on this website, update the “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
