Overview
Blagowood is operated by Mykhailo Melnychuk in Ukraine. Throughout these Terms, “Blagowood,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Blagowood store and website.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of blagowood.com, including its content, features, customer accounts, products, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Refund Policy form part of these Terms.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your place of residence to place an order.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account, billing, contact, and delivery information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity performed through your account. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
2. Products and Natural Variations
We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately. Screen settings and lighting may affect how colors appear.
Blagowood products are made from natural wood and finished by hand. Grain, tone, texture, density, and weight naturally vary between pieces, including pieces made from the same wood species. Minor dimensional differences may also occur; finished height may vary by approximately 2–5 mm. These characteristics are not defects unless the item materially differs from its description or has a functional problem.
Product details, dimensions, materials, included parts, availability, and processing times are stated on the applicable product page. If product-specific information conflicts with a general statement elsewhere on the site, the product-specific information applies.
We may update descriptions, correct errors, limit quantities, or discontinue products. These rights do not affect an order we have already accepted except where a genuine error, legal restriction, product unavailability, or other valid reason requires us to contact you about a correction, alternative, or cancellation.
3. Orders and Cancellations
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted after payment has been successfully processed and we send an order confirmation, subject to any fraud, availability, pricing-error, sanctions, or shipping restrictions that may apply.
Please review product selections, personalization details, quantities, and delivery information before submitting an order.
You may request cancellation within 24 hours of purchase. After that period, production may have started and we may be unable to accept the cancellation. Any mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights available under applicable law remain unaffected.
For personalized or individually modified products, the customer is responsible for the accuracy of the text, dimensions, images, design choices, or other details supplied or approved by the customer. This does not exclude responsibility for an error made by Blagowood.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including suspected fraud, unauthorized resale, pricing or inventory errors, legal restrictions, or inability to deliver to the supplied address. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund the amount charged for the cancelled item or order.
4. Prices, Payment, and Western Bid
Prices may change without notice, but a change will not affect an order already accepted. The amount shown before payment includes the product price, selected shipping charge, and any taxes or charges expressly displayed at checkout.
Additional import duties, taxes, customs-processing charges, or carrier fees may apply when they are not included at checkout or prepaid by Blagowood. Please review our Shipping Policy before ordering.
Our store uses the Western Bid™ e-commerce platform. Western Bid, Inc. acts as the Merchant of Record and e-commerce intermediary for purchases processed through its system. It may process the payment and appear as WESTERN BID on your credit-card or PayPal statement. Blagowood remains responsible for product information, order preparation, customer support, and the remedies described in our store policies.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order. A payment provider may decline, review, delay, or reverse a transaction under its own rules or applicable law.
5. Processing, Shipping, and Delivery
Most products are made to order and are usually ready to ship within 3–10 business days. In-stock items are normally handed to our courier on Tuesdays and Fridays. Processing time is separate from delivery time.
Most international orders arrive within approximately 2–4 weeks after dispatch, although customs, carrier operations, destination, holidays, weather, and events outside our reasonable control may cause delays. Delivery estimates are not guarantees.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate address and contact details, monitoring tracking, responding to the carrier or customs authority, and accepting or collecting the parcel on time. Blagowood remains responsible where loss, damage, incorrect delivery information, or non-delivery is caused by us or is otherwise covered by applicable law or our published policies.

6. Returns, Damage, and Refunds
Eligible standard, non-personalized items may be returned under our 14-day return policy. Personalized items and products made with individually approved dimensions, text, images, designs, or other modifications are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, materially different from its description, or is affected by an error made by Blagowood, please contact us promptly. Depending on the circumstances, we will provide the remedy described in our Return and Refund Policy and required by applicable law.
Return eligibility, reporting requirements, evidence, return shipping, inspection, deductions, failed deliveries, and refund processing are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms or our policies limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
7. Intellectual Property
The Blagowood website and its original content—including product designs, photographs, illustrations, videos, text, graphics, logos, branding, page layouts, and other creative materials—are owned by Blagowood or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may access the website for personal, non-commercial shopping and informational purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, sell, license, scrape, or commercially exploit protected Blagowood content or product designs without prior written permission, except where applicable law permits such use.
Blagowood does not claim ownership of mythology, religion, folklore, historical figures, traditional symbols, or other underlying public-domain or cultural subject matter. Our rights relate to our original artistic interpretations, product designs, photographs, text, branding, and other original materials.
8. Reviews, Feedback, and Customer Content
If you voluntarily submit a product review, photograph, video, comment, or other content for publication, you grant Blagowood a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, format, and use that content to operate and promote the store. This licence does not apply to private customer-service correspondence that was not submitted for publication.
You confirm that you own or have permission to submit the content and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe another person's intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights. Any incentive connected with a review must be disclosed.
We may moderate or remove customer content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, unrelated, contains personal information, or violates these Terms. Reviews may be collected and displayed through Judge.me as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Services to:
- violate applicable law or another person's rights;
- commit fraud or provide deliberately false information;
- introduce malicious code or interfere with the website's security or operation;
- collect personal information about other users without authorization;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- send spam or unauthorized promotions;
- circumvent access controls or security measures; or
- use automated tools to scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit protected site content in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, customers, Blagowood, Shopify, or third parties, or where these Terms have been materially violated.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may include tools, payment services, reviews, analytics, fulfilment services, or links provided by third parties. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
We are not responsible for the content or independent practices of third-party websites. This does not exclude responsibility for providers acting on our behalf where applicable law makes us responsible for their actions.
11. Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform used to deliver the Services. Shopify is not the manufacturer, packer, or carrier of Blagowood products and does not control Blagowood's product descriptions, production, shipping, returns, or customer support.
To the extent permitted by law, Shopify and its affiliates are not responsible for claims, losses, or damages arising from a Blagowood product or order. Nothing in this section affects rights you may have directly against Shopify in connection with a service separately provided by Shopify.
12. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy. Because Shopify hosts the store and Western Bid supports payment and e-commerce operations, information may be processed by these and other providers as explained in that policy.
13. Service Availability and Liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate, secure, and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. General informational content is provided for shopping and informational purposes and should not be treated as professional, historical, religious, medical, legal, or financial advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blagowood is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you used the Services or placed an order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, defective or misdescribed goods, or mandatory consumer remedies.
14. Changes, Severability, and Entire Agreement
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our Services, business, providers, or legal obligations. The current version and its effective date will be posted on this page. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
Changes do not retroactively alter an accepted order unless required by law or expressly agreed with the customer.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. These Terms and the policies incorporated by reference form the agreement governing use of the Services and purchases from the store, together with the product information and order confirmation applicable to a particular purchase.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections available under the laws of the consumer's country of residence.
Disputes should first be raised with Blagowood so that we can try to resolve them directly. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in accordance with applicable law.
