Width: 8 cm (3.1”)
Depth: 4 cm (1.6”)

This wooden figurine is designed with a flat back and features a special loop/hook, allowing it to be easily mounted on a wall.

This handcrafted wooden figurine exquisitely depicts Eir, a revered figure in the Norse pantheon, primarily associated with healing, medicine, and compassionate care. Though her direct mythological appearances are somewhat limited, Eir is often counted among the Asynjur, the goddesses of Asgard, recognized for her profound knowledge of medicinal arts. She is sometimes spoken of as attending to the ailing on Lyfjaberg, the "healing mountain," or as a valkyrie capable of tending to the gravest wounds. This meticulously carved wooden piece offers a serene presence, ideal for adding a touch of natural beauty to a collection, enhancing a home's decor, or serving as a peaceful focal point for contemplation.

In this thoughtful representation, Eir is shown holding a bag filled with carefully gathered medicinal plants and a traditional sickle. These attributes are central to understanding her role: the bag of plants symbolizes her deep wisdom in herbal lore and her ability to harness nature's remedies for healing. The sickle further connects her to the earth, signifying her active involvement in the cultivation and harvest of these powerful botanical ingredients. Together, these elements underscore her dedication to restorative practices and her embodiment of nurturing therapeutic power within Norse mythology.

Special Note: As each figurine is handcrafted from natural wood, subtle variations in wood grain and minor details may occur, making your piece truly one-of-a-kind. If this item is not immediately available in stock, please allow up to 7 days for your order to be created and dispatched. Please note that shipping time will be additional to the creation period.

Same as before, I strongly recommend these carvings. They are made of authentic wood and zero cheap resin like other sources might have. If you revere the old gods, this is 100% the place to purchase totems to honor them. Keep up the great work. I look forward to purchasing more some day.
