This handcrafted wooden figurine stunningly depicts Brigid the Flame, a powerful and multifaceted Celtic goddess revered for her dominion over fire, healing, poetry, and craftsmanship. She is a prominent figure in Celtic mythology, embodying creativity, inspiration, and the protective warmth of hearth and home, often associated with the coming of spring. This meticulously carved wooden piece, painted with a patina effect and varnished to perfection, brings a vibrant and inspiring presence, making it a captivating addition to a personal collection, an evocative decorative accent for a home, or a meaningful focal point on an altar.

In this portrayal, Brigid is shown holding fire in her hands, a quintessential symbol of her fiery spirit, representing not only literal flame and the forge but also divine inspiration, purification, and the warmth of healing. At her feet, a Brigid's Cross is depicted. This ancient symbol, often woven from rushes, signifies protection, peace, and the eternal flame, deeply capturing her fiery essence and the creative inspiration she bestows. This particular figurine is designed as one of three pieces in a special collection, celebrating the multifaceted aspects of this revered Celtic goddess.
