This handcrafted wooden statue intricately depicts Santa Muerte, the revered folk saint and goddess known as the Holy Death. A powerful and increasingly recognized spiritual figure, Santa Muerte is seen as an impartial entity who grants wishes and provides protection, embodying the universal truth that all are equal in the face of death.
Santa Muerte stands adorned with roses, symbolizing devotion and earthly beauty, and a crown adorned with candles and rays, highlighting her sacred light and divine authority. Next to her, a scythe stands tall, a potent symbol that signifies the inevitable passage of time and the cyclical nature of life and death. In her hands, she thoughtfully holds our planet and scales, representing her impartial judgment and the universal equality of all beings before her. On her chest, an image of a heart with rays symbolizes her compassionate yet unwavering and impartial nature. An owl, a timeless symbol of wisdom and the passage of time, sits beside her on an hourglass, with sand flowing into a skull, profoundly signifying the transient nature of life. This wooden statue beautifully captures the complex and powerful essence of Santa Muerte, making it a captivating addition to your home or altar.

Very beautiful piece. It’s perfect for my alter.
This is my second statue from Blagowood and I love this one even more than my first. Which says a lot because I love my other one! The detail on the Santa Muerte though is insane! It's hard to believe its made of wood with all the delicate detailed carvings. I am in love and will definitely order from this shop again in the future.
My wife loved it! Many thanks!
