This wooden figurine is designed with a flat back and features a special loop/hook, allowing it to be easily mounted on a wall.

This handcrafted wooden statue masterfully depicts Hermes, the versatile Greek God of Commerce, Communication, Travel, Thieves, and the Messenger of the Gods. Known for his swiftness, cunning, and ability to traverse all realms, Hermes is a vital link between the divine and mortal worlds, and a guide for souls.

Hermes is depicted wearing his iconic winged helmet (petasos) and winged sandals (talaria), perfectly exuding his swiftness, agility, and boundless energy. Leaning on classical Greek columns, symbolizing his connection to civilization and order, he holds the caduceus, his distinctive staff entwined with two snakes and topped with wings. This caduceus powerfully symbolizes his role as the divine herald, his healing abilities, and his capacity to guide souls to the underworld. At his feet, a ram and a rooster are depicted, symbolizing fertility, protection, vigilance, and his connection to pastoral life and dawn. Additionally, a cornucopia filled with vibrant vegetables and fruits lies at his feet, representing abundance, prosperity, and his role in good fortune. This wooden statue beautifully captures the dynamic and multifaceted nature of Hermes, making it a captivating addition to your home or sacred altar.

A beautiful piece great addition to your altar

I have received my new statuette of the Greek god Hermes. Truly amazing design and execution! Yes the product was packaged with care and delivered expeditiously. But I want to rave about the beauty of this artful object. First, the design includes many specific elements from the stories told of Hermes. I shopped around, and no other designers included any of these elements. Second, the carving is exquisitely, amazingly detailed. Thank you so much. You will find me a loyal customer.
