This wooden figurine is designed with a flat back and features a special loop/hook, allowing it to be easily mounted on a wall.

This handcrafted wooden figurine stunningly depicts Bridget, the revered Celtic Goddess of Fire, Healing, and Poetry. Known by many names, including Brigid or Bride, she is a multifaceted deity, embodying creativity, inspiration, craftsmanship, and the protective aspects of spring and rebirth. As a goddess deeply connected to both the practical arts and divine wisdom, Bridget's enduring legacy is celebrated across Celtic traditions. This meticulously carved wooden piece brings a vibrant and powerful presence, making it a captivating addition to a personal collection, an inspiring decorative accent for a home, or a meaningful focal point on an altar.

In this portrayal, Bridget is shown with a bowl of fire in her hands, her most iconic attribute. This flame symbolizes not only her dominion over literal fire and forge, but also her association with transformation, divine inspiration, and the warmth of healing and hospitality. Her thick, curly hair flows gracefully, often representing her wild and untamed spirit, a connection to the untamed forces of nature and creativity. These attributes collectively capture the vibrant and powerful essence of Bridget, reflecting her profound influence across various aspects of Celtic life, from the spark of poetic genius to the comforting warmth of the hearth.

Special Note: As each figurine is handcrafted from natural wood, subtle variations in wood grain and minor details may occur, making your piece truly one-of-a-kind. Amazing altar piece. I love her so much. Perfect Brighid to add to my space. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning piece. I have been eyeing it- and many others from this shop for months. I finally broke down and bought it and I couldn't be happier that I did. The piece shipped out far more quickly than I expected, arrived in what feels like record time, and was packaged safely. I am beyond thrilled with it and the rest of my order and can't wait to order more from Blagowood~

Absolutely beautiful!
Well worth the wait. I highly recommend this artist!
Blagowood: I hope you, your shop, workers and family are safe.

The statue is beautifully made and compliments my Brigid altar. Happy to support independent artists

I FINALLY RECEIVED IT!!! After a fierce battle against UPS I finally found it (but nothing shocking or unusual for the French). The package was smashed but the products inside were well packaged and therefore intact. But apart from its mishaps in France, the product is perfect. The wood is of good quality without knots and the details are precise and meticulous. The wood is quite light but resistant and has a small iron hook behind it. Shipping was very fast (as well as delivery). I love the design of the model and besides the others of the rest of the shop are well worth the detour. The seller and his assistant were also very attentive and helpful.

Parfait! La statue est magnifique, la livraison est rapide et soignée. Ravi de mon achat, merci!

Absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely buy from this seller again. I got a loop for wall mounting even though I wasn't sure I'd need it: it's a small metal piece of hardware that is completely unobtrusive when the statue is standing on a surface instead of hanging. I'm very happy with this piece and love how it looks on my altar. The seller also went above and beyond to make it quick and easy for me to receive my package to my home in Canada.

It is a beautiful piece of art, well done and it really fulfills my expectations.

Love being able to connect with my Celtic heritage by honoring Brigid.

Perfect, as usual ! I'm really happy with this statue, it is even more beautiful than in the pictures. I like to think the goddess welcomes my guests when they enter the house, and protects my family and my home. Shipping was faster than expected.
Beware, if you start ordering from this shop you'll find it difficult to stop !
