This wooden figurine is designed with a flat back and features a special loop/hook, allowing it to be easily mounted on a wall.

This handcrafted wooden figurine elegantly captures Freya, one of the most prominent and complex deities in the Norse pantheon. Revered as a goddess of love, beauty, fertility, war, and magic (seiðr), Freya is a Vanir goddess celebrated for her captivating allure and formidable power. She is a leader of the Valkyries and presides over her magnificent hall, Fólkvangr, where she welcomes half of the warriors who fall in battle. This meticulously carved wooden piece offers a captivating presence, ideal for adding a touch of mythical grace to a collection, enhancing home decor, or serving as a powerful focal point for those drawn to divine beauty and strength.

In this depiction, Freya is distinctively shown accompanied by her two loyal cats and adorned with her famous necklace, Brísingamen. Her cats are iconic attributes, known for pulling her chariot and symbolizing her independent spirit and agility. The Brísingamen necklace is a symbol of unparalleled beauty and immense power, acquired by Freya from four dwarves. Its intricate detailing highlights her divine allure and formidable presence, representing her association with precious treasures, the dawn, and perhaps even the stars. The combination of her cats and the necklace underscores her multifaceted nature as both a captivating goddess of love and a powerful, independent deity.

Freyja arrived quickly and was more beautiful than pictures show. She now sits on her altar and watches over us. Cannot recommend enough. 10/10

I love the incredible quality of the wooden sculpture. I was looking for something natural and sturdier than the cheap resin one I had. I think it captures Freyja really well. I'm very happy with it.
