In this dynamic depiction, ishtar is shown in her warrior aspect. She holds a bow in one hand and an arrow in the other, capturing her strength as a divine protector and conqueror. One foot rests upon a fierce lion—her sacred animal and timeless symbol of royalty and dominance—while her other foot presses upon the head of a defeated enemy, signifying triumph, justice, and unchallenged divine authority. Her head is adorned with the traditional horned crown worn by Mesopotamian deities, marking her elevated celestial status. Behind her rise her wings, fanned out in full power.
