This wooden figurine is designed with a flat back and features a special loop/hook, allowing it to be easily mounted on a wall.

This handcrafted wooden statue powerfully depicts Medusa, the infamous Greek Gorgon known for her petrifying gaze and complex mythological narrative. While often portrayed as a monster, Medusa's story is one of transformation, power, and tragic endurance, making her a compelling figure of both fear and misunderstood strength.

Medusa is shown standing with one leg triumphantly on the petrified body of a warrior, powerfully exuding her fearsome and commanding presence. This pose not only captures her formidable power but also subtly reflects the tragic story of the violence she endured and her subsequent transformation. The intricate details bring to life the duality of Medusa’s character, combining both her undeniable strength and the sorrow of her cursed existence. Her snakes, replacing her hair, are meticulously carved, emphasizing her iconic appearance. This wooden piece is a striking addition to any home or sacred altar, honoring the complex legacy of Medusa in Greek mythology and inviting contemplation of her enduring symbolism.
