Thor, norse god. Natural wood figurine. Pagan dieties for asatru, wiccan home altar kit.

    Material: Natural wood
    Height: 21 cm (8.3”)
    Width: 8 cm (3.1”)
    Depth: 4 cm (1.6”)
Finish: Protective lacquer with antique patina
Handmade: Yes, carved by hand in Ukraine
Suitable for: altars, ritual spaces and mythology collections

This wooden figurine is designed with a flat back and features a special loop/hook, allowing it to be easily mounted on a wall.

This handcrafted oak statue powerfully depicts Thor, the mighty Norse God of Thunder and unwavering protector of gods and humankind. Renowned for his immense strength, courage, and his legendary hammer, Mjölnir, Thor is a central figure in the Norse pantheon, constantly battling the forces of chaos. This meticulously carved wooden piece, rendered with simplified details, still emanates a robust and heroic presence, making it a captivating addition to a personal collection, a striking decorative accent for a home, or a powerful focal point on an altar.

In this portrayal, Thor is shown prominently holding his legendary hammer, Mjölnir, the iconic weapon capable of summoning lightning and leveling mountains, symbolizing his immense power and authority. The statue features his essential magical items: the iron gauntlets (Járngreipr), which allow him to wield Mjölnir, and the belt (Megingjörð), which doubles his already immense strength. By his side are his loyal goats, Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr, the enchanted beasts who famously pull his chariot across the skies. These combined attributes, presented with clean, simplified lines, beautifully capture the essence of Thor’s might and heroism, celebrating his role as a formidable protector and a symbol of strength.

Special Note: As each figurine is handcrafted from natural wood, subtle variations in wood grain and minor details may occur, making your piece truly one-of-a-kind. If this item is not immediately available in stock, please allow up to 7 days for your order to be created and dispatched. Please note that shipping time will be additional to the creation period.

Once again, I was greatly impressed and pleased by the stunning work of Blagowood. My statue of Thor shows a one of a kind beauty that comes from Scandinavia in this powerfully primitive style. My statue came in about a week and arrived carefully wrapped. I would encourage all NeoPagans to check out Blagowood for their ritual needs.
